Carol Pratt is the person who had the dream that a person can live again after divorce. She worked as one of the Electronic Health Record Analyst after retiring from the Departmnet of Defense. She has worked as the Clinical Workflow Analyst for the Department of Defense at Fort Polk, LA. Approximately ten years ago she was coming back from a mission trip in Canada. On the plane, the idea of having a Divorce Recovery Workshop was dropped into her spirit. As the tears started to flow, she began writing. When it was over, she had a complete plan for a one-day workshop. For years she let the dream lay dormant until it was re-awakened in 2019 while in church. The Pastor was talking about people who have ideas, programs and passions that they need to pursue. The desire was so strong to take this dream. So here we are today – working to make this a dream for others to recovery and live again.
Carol specializes in analyzing and improving different programs. She was part of the team to establish the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic at Fort Polk. She has also worked to help establish VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Jacksonville, NC.
Her love is taking care of veterans. Her joy lies in ensuring veterans are receiving the compensation they deserve. She has worked as a PEBLO, Military Service Coordinator and as an Administrative Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs. There is no job that she would love to do more than to take care of veterans. She also worked with the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs as a Veterans Counselor.
Her passion is to help people live their lives to the fullness and to continue learning every step of the way.
May you be blessed with the workshop and may your life never be the same – for the positive.
